It just amazes me that Lubeorno is their beacon of hope.

Re: Is Lubrano in Jeopardy?Reply
True, but Lubrano is the leader, the lightning rod. The executive committee may be thinking, get rid of him, and his followers will fall in line. I'm sure they're wrong, but since when do they face reality?

He is quickly becoming the new Dear Leader. One of the cultists was waxing poetically about Crazy Joe Lubrano and how he is the epitome of all the class, morality and integrity that Joe instilled in him.

For years, Lubrano claimed to have been a star varsity baseball player at Penn State. It was included in all his personal and professional biographies and trumpeted on his company's website. Truth was, he was a walk-on (as opposed the McQueary who was a walk-in) who never lettered and never entered a game once.

Actually, maybe he is the rightful heir to JoePed.

Exactly. If the cult has taught us anything, it's that what you've actually done is irrelevant. It's what you say you've done that's important. Grand experiment! Success with honor!

Don't forget that what you say you've done makes you superior to everyone else (once again, regardless of what you actually do on and off the football field) and you have an obligation to vaunt that superiority either as an excuse or an accomplishment as the situation requires (usually as an excuse since you haven't accomplished anything worthwhile in two decades) in the most pretentious way possible.

I am supprised that they are not putting his name forward for the PSU presidency.
