I have misplaced my pants.
Wait... what?!? So he's coach at Penn State in 2001, and he thinks he did this great thing by telling the AD about Sandusky, and then he sees Sandusky the next week, and he says, "Hi Jerry," when he passes him in the hallway. He doesn't ask what the hell HIS side of the story is. He doesn't go to the AD to ask what HE did. (I'm sure all this has been said here, so I'll keep it at that.) And somehow THAT is what saved "all those kids"?

so I figure some time tomorrow morning will be the beginning of what I'll call "prime BWI idiot mode". they spend the beginning parts of the week telling themselves that they are probably going to lose, which just bothers them to no end. by about midweek they'll have decided not only are they going to win, it won't even be that close....and every media member is an asshole who hates joe paterno and it's PSU vs the world. I think your best "nutjob posts" will start tomorrow and just get more and more insane by kickoff.

Maybe a sane person would say both deserve a long, long time in jail. I also think a sane person might think both have nothing to do with football, but are rather the crimes of both individuals.
Nope. Just the one involving an ex football coach, with some known issues, in a football locker room, witnessed by a then current coach, who reported it to the head football coach, who then told his boss, and then ultimately did nothing about it, to preserve the image of the football program.
Wouldn't any sane person realize the difference?

that second link started to piss me off so I had to stop reading. an OSU fan shows up to show them the difference between a doctor not affiliated with the football team looking at child porn (which he fully admits is a horrendous act) and a former football coach actually raping kids........and the mutants go full retard. the irony of it all is that their backwards word-twisting lunacy is EXACTLY what the "football culture" was referring to. they're straight up downplaying Sandusky while acting like this guy at OSU has any connection to the football team. Obviously they're mocking the decision by the NCAA at first, but once the OSU guys start defending the football team and pointing out their stupidity the joking goes away and the full force defense remains.
