Maybe I should clarify. I want to play tough teams because, selfishly, it is more fun to watch those games. If the B1G becomes the MAC, I bet I won't schedule my life around the OSU football anymore. That said, F Ped State.

again? nobody called for an asterisk when osu won the title in 2002. if osu beats bama, UF, or UGA in the title game next year, nobody will question it then either. and anyone that does won't b e persuaded by PSU finishing 9-3 vs. 6-6. you're grasping.

Am I the only one who doesn't care what ppl say in 2002 we won the NC game and went 12-0 in 2012. Commentary is just noise..30 years we will be the 2002 NC and undefeated in 2012 and few will remember the Noise. I'll be damned if I will let stupid opposing fans,talking a''''holes like Trev, Mark May define what MY team did. I don't need the approval of Skip and Stephen A so I can enjoy a NC or a 12 and 0 season.

Uh, no they wouldn't have. Now, had we made it to the NCG and got blown out, then you'd have a point. However, we would've faced NoSuch Dame and most likely would've won.

How in the hell does this person thinks that this Throburgh guy has any bigger standing than Freeh when it comes to this situation? This is how delusional they have become over there in Slappy Valley. Their line of thinking must go like this:

Freeh's investigation that made JoePa look bad, and cited examples and documents that supported their claim = HORRIBLE INVESTIGATIVE WORK!! TOTAL LIES AND DECEIT!! CAN NOT TRUST!!!

Throburgh's report on the Freeh Report not being as thorough as it should be - THIS GUY 1000% RIGHT!!! HE MUST BE TELLING ONLY THE TRUTH!! FREE JOEPA!!! THROW THE FREEH REPORT OUT NOW!!! 409!!! FRANCO!!! AHRGHHHH!!!!

Go ahead, you're only going to prove the counterpoint... which is that college football fans are going to talk shit regardless of what the facts might be.

If you think a flawless season is going to get SEC fans to stop being mean to you, you're mistaken. These days, that's what they are making fun of the B1G for half of the time anyway.

Yes this has to do with my personal feelings being hurt.....
Even if some here don't think the SEC is the benchmark... they are. We might as well join the MAC so we can guarantee undefeated seasons and hope we can ramp it up for a game or 2 at the end.

so, the SEC is the benchmark, but it won't be satisfactory to you if osu runs through a down big 10 and beats an SEC team for the title.
