I questioned it two years ago when they and LSU set offensive football back 120 years in the regular season and then they were given a chance to screw it up again.

While being polite to Jay Paterno all day and giving him his airtime, ESPN folks have largely denounced everything he is claiming. Other than Phil Knight, it doesn't appear that anyone is remotely moved by this "report".

....and when they got a free pass by playing Texas sans McCoy.

Hell I question them getting into the game this year due to how ridiculously the pollsters ignored their loss to A&M.

To be honest there isn't really that much of a difference between the major conferences (that even includes the ACC). That being said, if you want to bicker about SOS do so in the proper thread.

well they did join the SEC so that automatically makes them great....

The SEC has some great teams but there broken up so that there top 4 teams only normally have to play ONE of the other three before there championship game.... sorry but ESPN's golden child isn't as great as the mouth pieces want us to believe.

Lol... perhaps you should go back and read my original comment before running your jibs. The whole conversation is whether or not we need a strong Penn State in the conference. (And according to the title this is the right thread.)

No the whole conversation is about Penn State in general not your whining about mid major conferences or that Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee & Miss St constitute unbeatable opponents. Before the SEC championship game Alabama played exactly two tough teams....and lost to one of them.

If poster after poster keeps responding to you with the equivalent of the internet eye roll you might want to consider that the problem isn't everyone else, it just might be you.

Which of course fits perfectly into any conversation about the PSU faithful.

Ok that's cool....we can replace NIKE with Under Armor now and also support someone who clearly helped UMD join the BIG.
