Didn't he get the job in the first place by blowing the whistle? Maybe Ped State should sue him.

While they can say that they won't be disbursing the money until after a player has used up his eligibility (and I think in their mind they think this makes it out of reach of the ncaa), the fact that there is an established fund/program set up to do this is a promise of compensation to walk-on recruits.
The site just popped up today, so give the Penn State admin and ncaa a little time, but I have to think if they go through with this, it's a major violation while on probation. Death Penalty.
Mike McQueary's whistle-blower lawsuit claims his treatment by the university since Sandusky was arrested on child molestation charges in November has caused him distress, anxiety, humiliation and embarrassment.

RE: Tip of the Hat to PSU
Yep. Love to give my Buckeye friends, neighbors and work colleagues crap, but we are more alike than different.
HARRISBURG, Pa.?A Democratic-led effort to debate whether to have federal authorities look into how the Jerry Sandusky investigation was handled is tying up the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Republican Speaker Sam Smith abruptly adjourned the chamber Wednesday after Democrats tried to force discussion of a resolution asking the U.S. attorney's office to look into the matter.
It's unclear what will happen to the so-called discharge resolution when the House resumes session.
The investigation was begun by the under then-attorney general Tom Corbett, who's now Pennsylvania's Republican governor. His spokesman Kevin Harley says Democrats are playing politics and their effort to bring in the federal government will revictimize Sandusky's victims.
Sandusky is scheduled for sentencing next week on 45 counts of child sexual abuse. He maintains his innocence.
I think it's actually Birch O'Barlow.MaxBuck;2226730; said:Mike Mauti is the finest linebacker in the B1G. Too bad he's playing for a group of morons who wish to excuse child abuse; he's a class act, as is Bill O'Brien (or Beef O'Brady, Biff O'Boobsalot, or whatever). Good to see The Journey focus on his accomplishments.
