Five posts later, and it has nothing to do with Cardale... The people over on that board are fucking weird, man.

Once again, I'm surprised by the sadness I feel when I think about how JVP was treated by our university administration, the media and the public. I never thought of him as a "saint" but I do believe he tried to do the right things. Maybe I am a naive, blind follower of "the legend of Joe Paterno" but that's not usually my style.

I do hope there is a day that we are free to call it "Paternoville" again. I don't think that will happen.

Yep. His legacy is that he turned a blind eye to children who were being destroyed by his one-time DC and absolute friend of the program that Joe built. His legacy is exactly what it should be, and that is more than a sometimes winning football coach (at least winning while he was hiring the reffing crews).

We should start a site for Puppies for PSU walk-ons. Or maybe announce a day when all those loons can bring goodies to donate as player benefits to a giant warehouse. A warehouse that locks from the outside...

Aside from this "chalkstream" chucklehead, the rest of the posters seem to recognize the absurdity of this 410 wheeze. As well as the scheme's obvious true purpose: separating Nittany Lion boosters from their Benjamins.
