Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Joe Pa weighs in

?I understand Bill O?Brien has been named head coach and I want to congratulate him on his appointment,? Paterno said in a statement to the AP provided by his family. ?I don?t know Bill, but I respect his coaching record, and I am particularly pleased we share a connection to my alma mater, Brown.?

?Despite recent commentary to the contrary, Penn State football has always been about more than winning,? Paterno added, citing what he said was the program?s commitment to education and community service. ?I am hopeful this tradition will continue.?

Another good gem from a PSU topic.. apparently there's a topic at the ESPN boards from a lawyer or something.. and this is the shit he's spewing. Someone also referenced Sekrah (aka TeddyHeisman aka super awesome troll) saying that the lawyer's info matched Sekrah's. Hilarious!

Whatever helps them sleep at night.:rofl::rofl:

Another gem:

Nominate | Report Posted: Today 11:07 PM
RE: PSU Lawyer spills the beans on coaching search....

We might have had a chance at Meyer, but the Meyers and Paternos are very close, and after the firing of JoePa we lost our chance at Meyer (Might have still gone to OSU though)

Certifiable. These people are, by a very large margin, the most delusional fanbase in all of sports. :slappy:

I suppose Saban was interested until he was told the statue must stay at Bama.

Meanwhile, I hear John Wooden is open to taking over the head coaching job.

I heard Bear Bryant wanted in on the Pedo State dynasty, too... But only as an Offensive Coordinator.

PSU insiders: Rumor is that they're going to dig up Vince Lombardi, since you can't replace a legendary corpse without another legendary corpse. However, there's a fear that Jerry Sandusky will fuck Vince Lombardi's corpse, creating another scandal at PSU...

From the Scout boards:

:slappy: It takes Wisconsin losing practically their entire coaching staff, and Ohio State being banned from post-season play for Penn State to be considered favorites in the division....  :slappy:

I don't know if even with that I'd consider Penn State the division favorite.

Wisconsin will still have Montee Ball and Illinois returns practically everyone but Wiley (I think that's his name the DE) but they don't return the Zooker, which should immediately mean 2 wins on the outside.
