Corn Franklin?
I said this over on LR, and I was told I was insane. Imo Franklin and Rhule are like the Spider-Man meme. Neither has produced much at a high level but overachieved at their lesser destinations.Straight into bed with another guy that has, shall we say, big game "tendencies"?
Oh please make it so
It really isn’t. They’re located in the backwoods of PA, and is not a major destination for many top talent unless the coaches create great relationships and make competitive NIL packages. They almost remind me of a junior version of ND and almost on the same level as Nebraska. They have irrational fan bases who expect success like it’s still the 60s and 70s. Honestly, Franklin didn’t deserve to be fired, and they’re going to find that out the hard way over the years. I can see their next coach having a massive dip and it only continue to where Nebraska and Wisconsin are.Setting aside my visceral distaste for their cult, just looking at football: is this really a big time destination job anymore?
Not really an NFL factory, located in a bad spot. I mean a bad fucking spot. glory days were in the century that stated with a 19 but a fanbase that thinks they are as good/dominant a brand as OSU.
All the pressure of a top 5 job but what advantages?
