Meyer went to Florida; and Notre Dame hired Mr. Decided Schematic Advantage.
Could you imagine being in the office for that discussion?

PA Supreme Court dropped most of the damning charges against Schultz, Spanier and Curley today as well as ruled Cynthia Baldwin's grand jury testimony inadmissible. Without that testimony there is no case. This basically clears the way to drop all charges against all three. These guys will never serve a day in prison and the cult will rejoice in their innocence.

Isn't this the same school that tolerated Jerry Sandusky and defends Joe Pa to this day? But they're worried about microaggressions.
Penn State asks students to report microaggressions to administrators

They're still charged with both "failure to report suspected abuse" and "endangering the welfare of children" --- which I would argue are the MORE damning charges of the bunch.
And I do think those are going to trial.
As for Cynthia Baldwin and who she represented ----- seriously, WTF?!?!?!?!? It's really incredible such a FUNDAMENTAL issue wasn't resolved before her testimony. Crazy.
The Cult has finally become aware of former PSU professor Ronald Smith's upcoming book characterizing PSU football as a "rogue program." that "whitewashed years of rules violations, coaching malfeasance, and player crime." As suggested on here a while back, the author had best go into hiding like Salman Rushdie.
A Cultist tweeted "sue this SOB" to Scott Paterno.
Paterno tweeted "It's being looked at" in response to the suggestion to sue the author.

Illinois, huh? Sounds like more jealousy to me.It's being published by the University of Illinois, which means that it was pretty thoroughly peer reviewed and fact checked before being accepted for publication. Let that fat tub of legal mediocrity take on U of I's lawyers. I'd love to see it and what they could bring into the discovery process.
It's just a matter of time before the state decides they are not moving forward with the other charges. Not because they don't have merit - they do. But because everyone in power wants the whole ordeal to disappear and the Paterno faction has once again proven it's power and influence.
In regard to Cynthia Baldwin's role... are you saying you agree with this latest ruling? The lower court had it right and it's ironic that the same 'evil' supreme court that BWI can't stand barred her testimony to the grand jury basically rendering the case useless. The state isn't gonna pursue FTR. There's not enough meat on the bone for that effort.
Apparently, author Ronald Smith is offering a lifelong learning course in State College entitled "Joe Paterno’s Penn State and the NCAA Consent Decree." Naturally, the Cult is enraged and some of BWI's finest are plotting to sign up for the course to teach Smith some FAX and EVIDENTS.
Odds that some BWI posters register for the course and then regale BWI with stories about how Smith did not know the FAX and backed down when informed of THE TRUTH!!!!!!?

My favoite post in the thread:
WeR206: "I hope the Paternos or alum trustees send a cease and desist order to both this idiot professor and U of I press, especially in light of all of the serious charges against the admins being quashed. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
You'd think these people would wait until due process has run it's course before trying to write a book about what happened. But nope, they want to smear the Paterno name so they can make a quick buck. Makes me sick."
