Yeah, by the end, he was kept on because he had basically become the team mascot. His decline was obvious to all but the cultists.I mean how many games did he watch.....errr, I mean "coach...from the pressbox with no headset on just so he could get closer to the Holy 409. Man, I would have loved to have put JoePed in a room with somebody like Walter Bogdanich that day. He would have Joesus admitting to having kidnapped the Lindbergh baby.
The cultist have created some elaborate back story to explain why the cowardly BOT would fire Joesus. It follows the same logic pattern being applied to Jerry's innocence. Multiple people engaged in a conspiracy that leads all the way to the ex-governor. A conspiracy that requires thousands of people keeping silent - none willing to reveal the details of how JoePed was sold down the river as a patsy. It a mystery wrapped in an enigma that includes a parallel universe where Jerry is a great guy who helps at risk boys and Joesus leads the saintly PSU players to dozens of national championships, only to be robbed by the Ohio votersHas anybody ever explained a motive behind those people who supposedly wanted Paterno fired? I mean....I hated the mother fucker like no other, but these are people who probably stood to benefit from him still being around, right?
I think that if you asked someone who was French they'd say they are the world's cultural superpower (arrogant yes but a pretty valid claim). Pretty sure there's not much interest in the swinging dick club (and this is in the Ped St. thread?).They are kind of like France at this point. They still have the distorted worldview that they are a major power and, at the very least, indirectly involved in every move on the geopolitical stage.
Russia invaded the Ukraine to put the squeeze on their natural gas supplies heading into the winter as payback for 1812! Fax!! Evidents!!
Joe was barely competent there in his final couple of years. You could barely understand him half of the time. I remember him being asked about new rule changes at the Big Ten Media Conference prior to the 2009 or 2010 season (heck, it might have been 2008) and Joe had no clue about rules changes. I remember him being asked questions in post game press conferences when he couldn't remember what had happened during the game or remembered it wrong. He had a tendency to blow up at reporters if they asked him questions he didn't like. They couldn't let him face the media after the Sandusky serial pedophile case came to light.
But it would have been awesome if they had. It probably woukd have been good for the cultists to witness it too.
My God, he has a boat!!! What a scandal!!!!!! Joe never had a boat!!!!!!!

Sandusky is obviously a huge pedophile, and Joesus was a scumbag. Ex Governor Tom Corbett isn't too far behind Joesus on the scumbag list, however. Corbett took $600K for his gubernatorial election campaign from Second Mile board members while knowing that the founder of the Second Mile was being investigated on suspicion of being a pedophile by Corbett's very office. Upon becoming governor, Corbett also green lighted a sweetheart land deal for the expansion of the Second Mile. That deal was ultimately squashed due to public outrage once the Sandusky scandal broke.
A very legitimate case can also be made that Corbett (as state attorney general) slow played the Sandusky investigation until after the gubernatorial election by assigning just one investigator to look into the Sandusky/Second Mile allegations.
