I believe that those were assault charges too. And he forced out the VP who was trying to get football players put under general university disciplinary channels--to the point of threatening to stop fundraising if she wasn't fired.

God knows what else that sick old man was able to cover up in Peddy Valley.

the sad part is, no matter how shitty they currently are they still believe they have the best of everything. I'll never forget the year some jackass stater fan made a bet with my dad that Penn State was going to win the National Championship. This was the year after they went 5-6, two years after going 5-7. Oh yeah......and the year we won it all. not only did the idiot mouth off (being dead serious) that they'd win the NC......he did it to a fan of the team that actually accomplished it.

Hey, I'm all for land grant universities. Nothing wrong with that, but I do find it hilarious that they were actually founded as a high school. Then again, we had a governor a century after our founding who tried to turn us into a high school.
