Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Maybe they should throw his ass back in jail where he belongs. They knew his goddamn house was right next to an elementary school. I think they should not only force him to stay inside, but require that all windows and egress that face the school be blacked out to where you can not see anything. Make that sick fuck's life a living hell.

"The commonwealth believes that (the) defendant should be in jail," prosecutors wrote. "He has been granted the privilege of being confined in his own home, which is spacious and private and where he can eat food of his own preference and sleep in his own bed at night. House arrest is not meant to be a house party."

Re: Wrong coach

I just watched a 98 yard drive for a touchdown with 10 for 10 passing.

I'll take that in a coach.
Sooooo, the offensive coordinator went out there and completed 10/10? I could have sworn it was the elite QB that was a HOF'er long before Bernard O'Buttchin got there.

So you are saying McGloin is not as good as Brady? How many Super Bowls has Matt McGloin lost, huh?

Again, MOST of us were surprised to learn that.

My point was simply this: Those people are ALL gone now. There is no need to talk about kicking PSU out of the B1G for two reasons. 1. It makes no sense to punish people (the new coaching staff and the kids that play football there.) for things that they had no part in. 2. Because it just isn't going to happen.

I didn't respond to your post, because I have an opinion on whether PSU is in the B1G or not. I responded because of your analogy with regards to how Woody would be perceived or as you later talk about Newton at Auburn. For me, there ISN'T any analogy. The shit that went down at PSU is an incident that can't be compared to other situations that have occurred nor is it best to infer hypotheticals regarding how something similar would have happened here or there. It's a fucked situation (in every sense of the word). And when further information has come to light with regards to the lack of humanity in the people running that shithole it's atrocious to me.

To go off on a tangent, I watched a brief amount of the ESPiN interview of Jay Paterno. I found myself terribly conflicted as I'm not particularly fond of moments when people lose loved ones; however, I then have to remember that his father, the epic piece of shit that he is, was an enabler and a defender of abhorrent practices. I realize that JoePa paid his dues with his life when it all comes down to it, but I have just become so sickened by the news coverage and the hypotheticals that people throw out there that I just need to let this topic go.

i don't think that mural is "on campus" IIRC it is in "town". Semantics I know but the mural isn't sponsored or affiliated with the university. Just some cultist with a paint brush.

It's on a campus bookstore. But that is probably like Long's or SBX for us. (where it's just off campus on High St.)

People will forget about Tom Brady after the LEGEND of "NFL prototype" Stevie Bench begins to reign :slappy:

i've never seen a buncha goobs get so excited about a 2* QB that was poached from the football talent factory of Rice.

I actually knew one set of the Doublemint twins and a friend living in California is still married to one of them.

If he's married to twins shouldn't he be in Utah? :wink2:

Kind of like saying all Muslims are terrorists because some of them are. I know a lot of Penn State fans that are just as disgusted with what went on as we are. They just don't post their feelings on the internet. The only people you hearing from on PSU's message boards are the outspoken hardcore fanatics. Only a handful of Penn State's total fanbase. One of my best friends is a Penn State alumni... he looked physically sick for a few days after the Sandusky shit came out but was in favor of Paterno on down being dismissed immediately. There are many more Penn State fans like that than there are defending Paterno. I think 99% of the people that were involved in the cover-up are gone and are never coming back. If the same thing happened on Woody's watch you would have seen a lot of tOSU fans defending him to no end as well.

That's not my experience with Ped State fans. At all.

And I DID live in that shithole of a state for 13 fucking years.
