Was the lower picture taken before or after the DP'ing?

Is this the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or Mother Russia? Goebbels would be proud.

What if Meyer came here said:and started taking big time recruits from other schools and had us in the top 5 in the recruiting rankings, would your tunes be different?
Honest question. What if we were in Ohio State's shoes. Would you want Meyer loading up the way he is?
My answer is yes and I'm not one complaining about what he's doing. I want honest answers because maybe I'm missing something.
There would be absolutely zero complaints if Meyer was here doing exactly what he's doing at OSU (as long as he wasn't committing NCAA infractions). A lot of the hatred towards him is jealously and obviously the fact that he didn't pick us.
That being said, this whole "dream team" stuff rarely works out the way it sounds like it's going to. OSU is going to have a ton of pressure after this season to win national championships, and we've seen what that's done to teams like the Philly Eagles, Miami Heat, and LA Lakers in the past. There will be a huge target on OSU's back over the next few years every time they play a Big 10 team. Meyer is no doubt a great coach and one of the best recruiters ever, but we saw how things faded quickly in Florida when the pressure was on and the competition got fierce in conference.
Right. I'll settle for being the CFB Lakers.OSU is going to have a ton of pressure after this season to win national championships, and we've seen what that's done to teams like the Philly Eagles, Miami Heat, and LA Lakers in the past.
Ohio State had a systematic failure when it comes to following simple NCAA rules involving multiple players, multiple coaches, and members of the administration. Ohio State has a history of cheating of breaking the rules.
USC had one rogue player break the rules.
Compare the punishments.
How is that fair??

People didn't like Woody, people didn't like the fact that Ohio State's athletic budget was the largest (or one of the largest) in the country, people didn't like the fact that Ohio State won big a majority of the time. Ohio State was the poster child for big time football, and many resented it. Beating Ohio State made the season for any Big Ten team. Arrogant? Maybe, but when you watch any of those ESPN classics or BTN Greatest Games, the Ohio State upsets sure get played a lot.
The public thought that Ohio State was going to get its "payback" with major sanctions, and a sustained drop in on the field performance. Enter Urban Meyer. Here's another guy that the Big Ten fanbase will love to hate. The funny thing is, Meyer feeds off of that. He loves to compete, and he knows everyone is out to beat him. That's why he'll be relentless as a competitor.
Having a target on your back means you've been pretty damn successful over the years. The major players embrace it , sack up, and get after it.

RE: Barry Alvarez to talk to Delany about Meyer
Its become very clear we could have had that scum bag Myer if we wanted him. I understand he literally begged to come here, but JoePa knew what scum he was and ordered that under no conditions was Myer to be hired. That explains why Myer went so hard after our guys. The "woman scorned" syndrome. No sane person (which excludes all Bucknuts) would argue that BOB has a more impressive resume than Myer. Super bowl, took Tom Brady to the next level, had the guts to stand up to Brady vs. Tim Teabow. Myers entire coaching legacy is Tim Teabow. LOL. Good luck in your two years in Columbus before the NCAA bans you for 5 years, just like Tressel
