Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Sure sounds like Baldwin totally screwed the pooch and is trying to cover her tail. Now claims she didn't hear BOTH guys testify that she was their attorney. I guess the "dog ate my homework" excuse was already taken. She walking a tightrope between legal malpractice and ethics violations. She better have an alternative career on standby.

Curley and Schultz will probably claim that she failed to properly advise them and that, but for her failure, they would have taken the 5th. Apparently under Penn law they had the right to have counsel present for the testimony and, based on their statement that Baldwin was their counsel, they thought they did. Her apparently failure to advise them otherwise might have violated that right. It might end up being their "get out of jail free" card.

their holier than thou bullshit is like the Manson family bragging about being morally upright because no one told on each other within the family

Search for articles on the cover up over the harassment of/attacks against black students that happened 10 years or so ago.

Then again, if all that was required to print a couple "get out of jail free" cards was for the PedState attorney to go sit in on the GJ hearings--well, garsh! That was easy enough to do, as demonstrated by the fact that she did it. It is certainly advantageous to Ped State to have the cases against two former administrators bounced because of this "mistake". Maybe she's a very smart attorney.

Wonder what they have planned to get Sandusky off the hook?

Just as Urban Liar wants, because he is oh so familiar with that way and will therefore have an advantage for several years while other Big10 coaches ponder whether to go down the same path.

RE: Urban Meyer went off on Bret Bielema and Mark Dantonio

Well, it kind of proves that Meyer took advantage of the PSU situation AND WITHOUT RESERVATION. Gee, how were we going to try harder in that situation? OK, he and OSU can take the attitude that it's 2012, and not 1970. Which also says to me, that forget being a gentleman and having respect for others, it's everybody for themselves. If that is the way it, then that is the way it is.

If I am taking a cruise around Italy, and I find out the Meyer is on that boat, then I am changing my booking (AND WITHOUT RESERVATION).

RE: Wisconsin?s Bielema Questions Urban Meyer?s Recruiting

The difference between Urban and the rest of the coaches in the Big10 is that Urban contacts committed players first. At other schools, players have reached out. Reeves and Kalias both reached out.

Urban just doesn't care. Ohio State clearly just cares about winning. If they really wanted to clean up their image, they wouldn't have brought in a guy that had an affair with a grad assistant and had a ridiculous amount of arrests during his tenure at Florida. It is similar to USC losing Pete and brining in Lane Kiffin.

Re: Barry Alvarez to talk to Delany about Meyer

NCAA is not going to take anymore shi& from tOSU. For God's sake, they are already on probation as it is. Urban must be a complete narcissist to believe that he can walk into the program and pull the same SEC crap he did several years ago. I hate to say it, but I think Urban's days at tOSU may be much shorter than most realize due to his antic

And it goes on...
