Wow, what a difference one day makes?

Warinner now looks like a recruiting wunderkind. We have three 2014 recruits who can play tackle, or get this: IF WE HAVE TOO MANY GOOD TACKLES, two of them can move inside. When is the last time anyone said that?

"Three" was always JT's perfect number of o-line recruits, but it is still June and Warinner is only getting started.

Let me daydream: next year, Farris and Dodson and Lisle will compete for a tackle position, plus Jones and Jones and Trout, plus more recruits to come. One tackle opening to fill, with at least 6 viable candidates. This has been a long time coming.

Not to mention an run game coordinator who can squeeze every drop of potential out of his recruits. It has been many years since we had that.

Now I guess we're comparing Urban's recruiting to Woody's! Woody always recruited tackles. Cannot ever remember him recruiting a guard. Always tackles. (Admittedly it's been a while, so the memory is a tad fuzzy). He always felt that if a kid didn't work out (aka not fast feet or technique, etc) he could play guard. At least that's what he told the Touchdown Club.

Woody => Earl => Urban all had winning philosophies.
