If you watch the video carefully his mom ribs him about say The University of Ohio State... its barely audible but she knew it and he realized it to lol.
Noticed that as well. I'm not so sure Jones didn't say that way on purpose just to build the suspense a little more till the final words came out of his mouth. Doesn't matter to me either way, just glad to have him aboard and keep the momentum going for recruiting.

Jones makes his decision- Rivals video

Football: De La Salle?s Jamarco Jones chooses Ohio State
By Beth Long FoxSports Next June 27, 2013

Four-star De La Salle offensive lineman Jamarco Jones announced his college choice Thursday at his De La Salle to a crowd of friends and family.

?I have decided to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Ohio State,? Jones said from the podium. ?I went back and forth for several weeks, and I switched my decision twice. I made the final decision Wednesday that I was going to Ohio State.?

It was a long road for Jones to arrive at his decision. In mid-May the standout offensive lineman narrowed his list down to Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State.

?It was a very close race, it was very hard to pinpoint the final thing that would push it overboard, and I was just going back and forth, back and forth and then I finally decided that I wanted to go to Ohio State,? Jones said.

What ended up setting the Buckeyes apart?

?Just thinking back on each visit and thinking about what the university can do for me, looking back on coach Urban Meyer?s past he has won national championships, and he knows how to get the best out of his players,? Jones said.

Ranked the sixth-best offensive tackle in the country by FOX Sports NEXT, Jones took visits to each of his three finalists just weeks before his decision, and eventually that is what helped Ohio State come out on top.

?Ohio State just felt right, I feel that they will give me everything I need, they can push me to become a better person, a better player and academically too,? Jones said.

Hopefully v2.0 performs better than did v1.0...

I thought Brew, Shugarts (minus the false starts), and Adams did a pretty darn good job after being forced into early action...but that is for another thread.

If we land Prince and/or Mavety/Eluemenor, I think we slide Jamarco down to guard...have the Jones' at guard, then have Trout join Prince/Mavety/Eluemenor at tackle. Jamarco certainly has the ability to play tackle but I love his potential as a pulling guard.

Great news!!! We need all the top flight lineman we can get. We can recruit offensive weapons all day long, however they are worthless without a good line... Great pickup for the Bucks!!!
Games are definitely won or lost in the trenches. But with that being said, I wouldn't go as far as calling our offensive weapons "worthless" without a good line.

Adams never really developed until his senior year, Shugarts never played near his potential, and while Brewster did great his first three years he seriously regressed his senior year. And all three were consensus 5-star recruits. My point is that Block O is not necessarily the definitive reference of OL greatness.
