Not enough Java yet...

Ur 100% correct - but coaches politics come into play as well as promises made during recruiting.....
The best player should play any position regardless of age and if they beat out a previous year starter - so be it.

I think we're literally seeing that right now at OL. If politics and recruiting like you say play that much of a part, then Munford would still be the presumed starting LT, and not the LG, "low rated" Dawand Jones would be an after thought at RT, and Master Teague would be the automatic RB starter
