Seems Miller played well enough in the scrimmage, as he graded out a champion (along with Wypler).

I think a lot of people forget that Harry was playing through a pretty serious injury last year and was in his first year as a starter... not even accounting for the craziness last year. Kid is talented, smart, has transformed his body, and has had sufficient reps now. I fully expect a big year out of him. That said, we have insane depth and I expect guys like Wypler, M Jones and Fryar to get plenty of PT even if they don't start... they're too good not to and they all need to be ready when needed.

I have no inside knowledge but I don’t believe he was “Wally Pipp’d”.
Would like to see out inside run game with him though, just to compare. Our inside run game has been pathetic this year. Normally our bread and butter. It’s tough to watch 3 yards and a cloud of dust against a 3 man front of unequal caliber players.

Thought Day said awhile back that Miller was dealing with family issues or am I thinking of someone else.

Could it be he is still returning from COVID, if that’s why he was out originally. If he tested positive 9/1 the he could have been out at least through 9/10. That would give him a small amount of turn around time and others would have practiced during that time frame. I’m hoping he is back this year or next to be a starting Guard next to Wypler. Maybe I am missing something.
