A huge congrats to Kollin Moore on winning the Junior World Trials at 96 KG. Huge honor. In the best 2 of 3, Moore won by 11-1 TF and an 11-5 decision. Another point of interest is Mark Hall sweeping both matches against Nolf...pretty incredible.

Seems to be some smoke on the Ohio Wrestling forum that Isaiah White may not be joining OSU in the fall. Doesn't mention if that is due to grades or something else. Pretty big loss if true

Bob P. is as close to an insider as it gets. He has missed a few things but that's only because the staff was wrong or told something by a recruit directly and Bob passed it on (Mark Hall)

Lots of reported issues with White but I thought he would be a Buckeye eventually. Seems up in the air at best now.

In other news, Tsirtsis is leaving NW. Not sure if we are in on this but I would imagine we at least throw our hat in the ring.

Would be an amazing fit here and yes, only strengthens our position. Not sure if our pursuit for Vough makes a difference yet.

Looks like Isaiah White will end up at Notre Dame College in Euclid. No mention of whether this will be a temporary situation to improve grades and move on to a D1 program or 4 year commitment.

Anyone in the know have an idea if Kyle's win might help in recruiting? I am sure it can't hurt! But I am wondering if this might help OSU land some top talent at the heavier weights.

It's going to help a ton. The Burrows effect for Nebraska was substantial, a ton of kids wanted to be there with him around. Then you also have the culmination of having the training center in Columbus and Logie Bear there.

I am pretty sure it can only help with Steveson as well. He looks up to Snyder.

Bummer for us but really big for Lou. And toy want assistants getting promoted from time to time or else you need new assistants.
