This season is a toughie. Started out disjointed, gained some cohesiveness, won some games, and now appear to be disjointed again. Actually thought I saw some words come out of McGuff's mouth instead of gum-cracking. For certain sure haven't seen any Asst coaches standing up and working with players. Seems like the guys, in that everyone is passing to someone else and not taking the open shot when given. Not everyone has green light? Foot speed is very slow, as Maryland waltzed around numerous Buckeyes for layups. No one dropping. There are two women in there that appear to be less nimble than others. Playing them together is probably not a good idea. But other than Dorkus and Alijah, there isn't any slender, quick heighth available to slide down into the low post. Anyone see anything that I'm (probably) missing? Go Bucks There's waaaay too much talent on this team to have lost this many games. I get that there's seven freshmen, and zero seniors on the court, but come on. These kids have been balling since they were six, and most (all?) come from pretty well respected HS programs (actually the travel teams are probably more highly rated than the HS).
McGuff is terrible as a HC of a woman's basketball team and as soon as Gene Smith realizes this maybe the program will turn around with someone else as the HC.
