I largely agree, but at least the average weight of the coaching staff is down considerably (that hire will bother me for as long as McGuff is here). I look for the assistants to help with the problems on D. Yesterday I did feel that the defensive effort was stronger than in the past.

With all the youth it will take time to see what the coaches are trying to do.

Don't see any changes from last year. Still in the Kelsey pull up and pop a 3. Fully agree (and have opined) that McGuff isn't a great 'Xs & Os' kinda coach. Fantastic recruiter certainly, but not gameday coach. AND, not seeing the assistants take a player aside and coach them up during timeouts or after taking out for a bit. Agreed that there's what?, seven frosh on the team, and two upper-class women (neither of them play much at all), so there's not a bunch of senior leadership there. Hopefully someone steps up (player), and McGuff lets his assistants do some coaching. Go Bucks!
