OU's Oline is fantastic and watching them battle OSU's Dline will be awesome. OSU's dline depth could/should create issues for OU later in the game. Mayfield is good.....really good and will be tough to stop. He's going to make some plays and get his yards. The key is to force him into an INT or two. There won't be a lot of running lanes for OU to run the ball, so Mayfield will likely need to put on an incredible performance for OU to win.
I really look for OSU to mix things up a little on Offense. Showing a few new wrinkles or formations would not surprise me one bit. They've taken a lot of heat from fans/media for struggling against IU, but perhaps the coaches were holding a bit back, in preparation for this game? We did see some wheel routes and long crossing routes that haven't really been a big part of OSU's offense of late. Wouldn't be surprised to see them expand on that a bit. Wilson has always been very good at finding mismatches and getting guys the ball in open areas. If OU has a weakness on D, you can bet Meyer and Wilson will find it.
Stoops didn't do Riley any favors by leaving before this season. Going into the Shoe against OSU in a prime time feature game is a tall order for any coach, especially one who has exactly one game under his belt.
All told, I think it will be a good game with both teams hitting some big plays. In the end, I think OSU's depth wins out and they win it 35-24.
