It's obvious you guys are terrified by the way you keep bringing up last year as if it has any significance. You lost your best playmaker and didn't replace him. Meanwhile OU has playmakers all over the field. Mayfield is gonna tear your D apart, and is obviously the much better college QB than Barrett which is why he will win th3 Heisman this year. JT won't be a finalist, and probably won't even be in the discussion for being a finalist.

Mayfield looked very good last week against a defense not in the top 200. This week, his Heisman dreams could die in Ohio Stadium, like so many quarterbacks and running backs before him.

There is no dispute that Ohio State's defensive line is probably one of the best in college football, or that it is better this year. Let's see how Mayfield handles the consequences of that.

Perhaps a goid place to start would be a look at the teams he faced and did not impress...Ohio State last year. TCU and Tennessee the year before.
