Gottlieb is just bitter about having played at one of The Other OSUs. Imagine how galling to the ego that must have been.

Besides, they're just jumping on the anti-Ohio State bandwagon, which is popular for the moment. It ain't no big deal. In three years, when BK has left UC pumped and dumped like a plastic fuck doll because the right big time job has come along and the Big East has dissolved into the non-auto qualifying mess that we know it truly is, UC will be back in the college football ghetto where they've resided for the last century and nobody will even remember that ultimately meaningless 2-3 year patch of alleged glory.

With all due respect, this entire argument is silly and can be ended with a simple review of the ticket sales for "Ohio's BCS team's" first ever BCS bowl game. One can go to Cincy's website right now and get tickets for face value. Face value too much?? Go to ebay or any ticket broker website and get tickets for about 20% of face value. Sell your allotment of tickets, show some passion for your team, then MAYBE you can complain about a lack of respect.
