Here is the official program for the first matches to be played today.

There have been no official updates about the status of the new recruit from the Netherland's Ille Van Engelen--World ATP ranking of 1188!
He is not listed on the official team roster.

His website seems to indicate he will be competing for the Buckeyes this spring, however.

I will keep an eye out for him at the matches today and hopefully post some pics tonight.

Are you positive that he is even enrolled at The Ohio State University. I could ask my grandson to ask his coach but I don't want to get too nosy:blush:

Despite Litl's suggestion to the contrary, I was not present at the inaugural OSU varsity tennis match in 1911.
BB 73 and I had graduated by that date.
Notwithstanding the patronizing attempt to make us feel younger, we enjoy the flattery, will embrace our hoary heads as a symbol of genuine wisdom and will attempt to lavish some of the same upon the BP youngsters. oh and by the way here is the report on the Xavier match from the Official Tennis site.

Notice that Allare did not play in either match. Don't know what to think about that:huh:

If you didn't make it to the inaugural tennis match, you still could have made it to the inaugural baseball game. I wonder how that turned out. Fresh popcorn.

A total of 30 games lost in 12 straight-set victories. That's an average of 1.25 games per set. That's just ridiculous.
