OSU will be the #3 seed and begins play Friday 9 am vs. #14 Texas.
Would love to see the Buckeyes make a deep run in the tourney although powerhouse and homecourt favorite #2 Virginia potentially awaits in the semis.
Texas should be a good warm-up for Texas A&M who will handle Kentucky pretty easily. After we take care of the Aggies we shall see how good we really are when we take on the Cavaliers who should make it to the semis easier than us.:osu:gracelhink;2108733; said:A recap of the victory over the Spartans from the official tennis site.

For the 13th time in his career, Chase Buchanan, a senior on the No. 3 Ohio State men?s tennis team, was named Big Ten Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Buchanan, No. 28 in the ITA polls, posted a 4-0 record during the weekend at No. 1 singles and doubles. The Buckeye from New Albany, Ohio, downed Louisville?s Andrew Carter 6-1, 6-0 in singles play after teaming with sophomore Blaz Rola in doubles and beating the Cardinals pair of Robert Hall and Seb Stiefelmeyer 8-0 Feb. 9. Both wins helped the Buckeyes to a 6-1 victory over Louisville and improved to 10-1 all-time vs. the Cardinals, including a 6-0 ledger under head coach Ty Tucker.
In Ohio State?s Big Ten opener at Michigan State Feb. 12, Buchanan defeated Aaron Pfister 6-1, 6-0. In doubles, Buchanan and Rola once again were successful, besting Pfister and Drew Lied 8-3 to lift the Scarlet and Gray to a 7-0 win vs. the Spartans. With the victory, the Buckeyes won their 12th-consecutive Big Ten opener, while moving to 41-35 all-time vs. Michigan State.
For the season, Buchanan has collected three Big Ten Athlete of the Week honors. In all, it is Ohio State?s seventh this season.
Up next, the Buckeyes head to Charlottesville, Va., to compete with 15 other teams in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships Feb. 17-21. They won the ITA Kick-Off Weekend earlier this season to earn the chance to compete at the prestigious event.

Won the doubles point and #1, #2, #4 singles. I am sure that Mr. Tennis will have a better run down.
