Well, it looked like Minny State would have nudged us out of that last #1 seed had they won the WCHA tournament regardless of our winning out. Michigan Tech took them out yesterday, so all we need to do is thump some domer ass, and it's ours.

Big Ten Championship and a #1 seed in the tournament on the line in Suicide Bend tonight. It's on BTN. Overlaps hoops, I'm afraid.

Given the carnage in other championship games, we still may have slid into a 1 seed. USCHO has us as the one seed in Worscester with Boston College, Clarkson and Denver. If we're the top 2 seed, we'd still be there and just play Clarkson in the first round instead of BC.

Wow. Committee did us a huge favor. #1 seed in Allentown w a first game against unranked Princeton who played their way in through their conference championship game. Other half of the bracket is Denver and the pedsters.

Coached at Duluth I believe. Also probably heavily recruited it when he was at Wiscy.
That's important. To stay at the level we've risen to, we'll need a pipeline into one of Minnesota, New England or Canada.
