The Buckeyes are digging their usual hole, down 0-1 at the first intermission. Announcers said we have a 90% chance to make the tournament if we win today and lose to Minny but only a 33% chance if we lose to Bucky today.

Lose 2-1. Not sure what we need to happen in other tournaments, but we absolutely need Minny to beat the pedsters tonight and take out Wiscy in the championship game.

Yeah. Tough player, but he loves to goon it up. Announcers were essentially predicting all game that the refs would drop the hammer on him if he didn't knock it off.

They gave us a brutal bracket. If the Buckeyes get past UMD, they'll probably face North Dakota in front of a home crowd. Still, it's a huge step forward for the program regardless of what happens in Fargo.

Love hockey. Got hooked after going to home team St Louis Blues home game last year.

Being a new fan of the sport and would love to have another Buckeye team to support.

This program should have the goal to make the tournament every year. Really no excuses why that can't happen. It's a tough region, but only because it is in Fargo. I don't have a high opinion of UND. UMD will be a tough, but we should actually get more of a home-crowd atmosphere cause of all the Sioux, I mean Fighting Hawks, fans will be pulling against the Bulldogs. This team has the ability to beat anyone and lose to anyone in the country. Lucky for us, all the teams we will be playing from here on out are probably better than us.

Big day for Buckeye Nation as the men's hockey and women's basketball teams look to advance in their NCAA tournaments.

North Dakota rallied from 3-1 down in the 3rd to eliminate Boston University 4-3 in OT. Check that, the goal was challenged and overturned, so the game continues tied at 3.

Looks like our game will be delayed now.

And they're into the 3rd intermission now, so the earliest the Bucks will drop the puck is probably about 7:40. Most likely, it'll be later than that.

The good news is these two teams are spending a lot of energy IF the Bucks can advance to play the winner.
