I do not hold out much hope for the conference tournament but it will be interesting to see if this team develops some nnext season. It is interesting to note that Oz is coaching the U--20 United States development team but he cannot coach Ohio State. Call me confused.

Been swamped with work and travel, so I haven't paid much attention this year. Only reason that I watched Saturday was that I was laid up in a Cincy hotel room with a nasty pain killer reaction. How have they looked? Are the recruits any good, and did they develop over the course of the season? It chafes my fucking balls to have to watch the pedsters move past us in only their second year. What's next year look like?

They seem to have gotten better as the season came to a close but the same thing happen last year. I am not sure about next year's recruiting class because they always talk them up big time and they turn out to be squat. I will have to do it in a more research. Next year will probably all depend on who sticks around because hockey players usually do not do that for an entire four years. Oh, and stay away from those painkillers especially in Cincinnati:wink:

If I'm not mistaken, the few times I watched this season the commentators noted that towards the end of the year was the first time that certain individuals were back or to full health. Injuries apparently were significant this year.

I know that Ord mentioned this in the basketball thread but the much-maligned Ohio State hockey team take care of the Pedsters 3-1 in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten hockey tournament and will take on Minnesota #1 seed tonight on BTN. They took care of Minnesota last weekend so let us hope that they can do a redo.

Swept last week by Bowling Green, and Fredo (OH) will most likely complete their sweep tonight. Different year; same shit.
