Ohio State Men's Ice Hockey (2019 B1G Champions)

I read the small blurb in Friday's Dispatch where Steve Rohlik said he had no problem playing in a large arena (Value City), and I started to laugh.

What is he going to say? The last guy who had differences with Ohio State was let go abruptly.

There is no direction or leadership with this athletic department.
Also, I am sure that the players do not mind taking the bus over to the ice arena every day to practice:shake:

Do not know how good this Davis kit is but he is the son of the local weatherman here in Columbus. I thought our former coach already had a commitment from a top-notch goalie. I guess we shall wait and see.
Goaltender Logan Davis of Upper Arlington has signed a national letter of intent to play hockey at Ohio State.

Davis is a product of the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets program.

Also signing with Ohio State were defensemen Josh Healey of Edmonton and Drew Brevig of Prior Lake, Minn., and forward Dave Gust of Orland Park, Ill.

Ohio State recruits Tyler Sheehy, Jack Dougherty decommit after Mark Osiecki firing

The firing of well-respected head coach Mark Osiecki at Ohio State April 15th after just three seasons in Columbus shocked the college hockey world. The former Badgers player and assistant coach had built a reputation as one of the elite defensive minds in the sport, and was creating quite the stable of top prospects.

After taking some time to process the aftermath, some of Osiecki's former recruits have chosen to pursue other opportunities. Zach Stepan, Cliff Watson and Nolan Valleau all parted ways with the program after Osiecki was let go.

Bucky's 5th Quarter learned of two more Monday, as it was confirmed to us that St. Thomas Academy defenseman Jack Dougherty and Burnsville forward Tyler Sheehy have decommitted from the program.

And Gene seems hellbent on seeing that we're the joke of that league.

If you notice, the Athletic O at Center Ice is the old Athletic logo as well.

Personally, I don't mind because I don't like the Black lettering of the new one, but since they made a fuss about the new logo, maybe they want to get on the same page.

I'm sure it will be a different logo painted next year (for all athletic facilities).

http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on...io-states-new-buckeye-sweater-raises-eyebrows

THE Ohio State University men's hockey team debuted a new alternate sweater to the public on Wednesday and thus far they have been received with high enthusiasm.

The jersey was voted in by current and former players, though it says nothing of designers who appear to be Cheech and Chong with their affinity for plants and such. They seemed to incorporate their passion into this sweater, the unmistakeable buckeye leaf.

As you can see the sweater spots buds buckeyes all over the bottom similar to the stickers on the football helmets for great plays. Though unlike those stickers these are actually green and are standing pretty much straight up looking a bit more like sticky, not stickers.
