Game Thread Ohio State @ Iowa, 11/04/17 @ 3:30 (ESPN)

Not like our interior is some joke either. Guards can't double team our interior lineman so if the tackles are struggling you have no choice but to use a tight end to chip or keep a running back in the backfield on obvious passing downs.

If they're ferocious again and are granted the freedom to be 'let go' it could be a a pleasant viewing.

Yeah, two Frosh OT is not going to bode well for a fairly immobile QB. Just can't picture those guys holding off a constant barrage of Hubs, Holmes, Lewis and Bosa. Could be a sack fest this Saturday.

They are young, but they aren't without talent. I'm aware of your DL's ability and you could very well be right, but let's play the game first and see how things go before writing these guys off.

Any other answer and you'd be kicked out. There was a time that people here thought Freshman would never be playing certain positions for us. It happens and a ton of talent has taken advantage of it. Welcome to BP. Hope you will stick around. Just make fun of scUM and bash the shit (<--that is what is used for S-H-I-T just so you know.) out of PSU and you'll always be welcome. This is coming from someone that has no say in you being kicked out or anything.

PRESSER BULLETS: URBAN MEYER, J.T. BARRETT PREVIEW OHIO STATE'S "TOUGH" ROAD GAME AT IOWA

A sampling of what Barrett had to say:
  • Barrett said he takes a mental picture of the defense in his head before each play. That picture can change if the defense makes pre-snap adjustments.
  • Barrett credits improved communication with his receivers for making the big plays late in Saturday's game possible.
  • Barrett didn't know he had completed 16 straight passes on Saturday until someone told him after the game.
  • On K.J. Hill: "I've always felt comfortable throwing to K.J."
  • On not letting the Heisman Trophy hype get to his head: "Not too long ago, I was at a spot where people were saying I shouldn't start ... Ryan Day said 'Don't bite the apple,' because once you think you have it, you don't."

A very good down to earth level headed comment.....:slappy:

There's no doubt we will get after the QB but in sack numbers we haven't gotten home as much as you'd think for a DL as loaded as ours. I am confident that the plan for you guys will be to get rid of the ball fairly quick anyways. Its surprising to me that you guys are better at throwing the ball because its almost always easier to run the ball when you're young.
