Game Thread Ohio State @ Iowa, 11/04/17 @ 3:30 (ESPN)

Announced either a 12 or a 3:30 start

Urban Meyer may have successfully talked his way out of a night trap at Iowa

Big Ten kickoff times for Week 10 have started to come together on Monday, with Minnesota announcing it will host Michigan in primetime on FOX. The decision to have the Gophers and Wolverines in primetime was a tad puzzling considering two of the other game son the Big Ten schedule that day. Penn State is playing at Michigan State and Ohio State is playing — you guessed it — at Iowa.

The Buckeyes will be playing at either noon or 3:30 p.m. eastern on November 4, with the Nittany Lions and Spartans likely to be slotted in the other timeslot. The speculation is the 3:30 p.m. ET slot will be reserved for the winner of this week’s Ohio State-Penn State matchup, as the game will likely begin to take more weight in the College Football Playoff picture on top of the Big Ten championship hunt.

Line will be out soon but I took a look at some stats and watched the condensed game vs Penn State.

Iowa's offense is average at best. They are good for about 300 yards and 10-14 points against B1G competition not named Illinois so far. They can't run very well at all and their QB is just a big strong armed statue type.

Defense looks solid but they seem to live and die by trying to bring pressure with just their 4 DL. If they give JT Barrett the time and space they gave McSorely, they will pay a price.

Goes without saying OSU has a massive talent edge. Clean up the special teams nonsense and this doesn't even have to be close.

Iowa played the cult down to the wire. Literally lost it on the last play iirc. We can be sure Urban will remind the team of this. They do have a great LB in Jewel and a solid D but nothing close to our D. They also don't have any real breakaway guys on Offense. Just a solid, disciplined team but nothing that makes you take notice.
We should have another dominant 500+ yard performance. Let's hope it's an injury free game. GO BUCKS!

glad they are not coming off a bye week. PiSU is in the rear view. Go Bucks!

They are coming off their rivalry game actually (Floyd of Rosedale)

Come to find out Iowa has had injuries along the OL and have two freshmen starting at tackle. One of them is a true freshman making his 4th career start.

So they have that going for them
