One thing I can tell you is that Iowa’s hopes of winning shot through the roof when they watched the best defensive player on the field get ejected. They smelled blood at that point, got a fresh set of downs, and zipped it to the end zone the very next play.

You’ll have people saying it wouldn’t have made a difference, but I strongly disagree. A giant momentum and confidence boost can completely change the outcome of a game.
