Ohio State 92, Memphis 76 (Final)

Common thread here is that post game consensus is that, "Wow, these guys are WAAAAAAAAYYYY fucking better than we EVER gave them credit for. Its not just about finding ways to win, it is that, on all cylinders, we are untouchable. Its not about shutting down Oden, or Lewis, or Conley or Harris, Lighty, Butler, Cook or any single person. Its NOW about shutting down 6 to 7 guys a night. Impossible. The way that they are playing, if they keep it up, they are untouchable.

Thought I'd pass along the verdict from the missus -who would, trust me, know about these things:
This is the best she has felt about an Ohio State Basketball team since Jerry Lucas was wearing Scarlet & Gray - and SOHIO was giving away basketball glasses free with every fill-up.
These truly are the good old days!

Ohio St. Beats Memphis; Final Four Next
By JAIME ARON
AP Sports Writer

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Greg Oden wasn't going to let foul trouble stop him, not with a chance to take Ohio State to the Final Four. Frustrated by fouls for a third straight game, Oden made the most of his time on court during a key stretch of the second half, carrying the top-seeded Buckeyes past Memphis 92-76 Saturday in the South Regional finals.
Oden's numbers weren't huge: 17 points, nine rebounds. The 7-footer's impact was

Ohio St. beats Memphis; Final Four next

The Associated Press SAN ANTONIO (AP) ? Ron Lewis scored 22 points and Ohio State beat Memphis 92-76 in the South Regional final Saturday to advance to the Final Four.
The Buckeyes last made the Final Four in 1999, when a team led by Michael Redd and Scoonie Penn lost to eventual national champion Connecticut. That trip later was expunged from the records because of NCAA violations, making their last official appearance in 1968.
