Ohio State 75, Florida 84 (final - NC Game)

Prediction: Ohio State by three. Florida is bigger, quicker, stronger and older. That's why the Gators are a popular pick to repeat as national champs. Fair enough. But Florida is also less consistent that Ohio State. If the Gators fall, look for them to be undone by poor shooting, subpar ball control and a relatively foul-free Oden.

I almost wish there were a couple more days before the game, so the national media could blow more smoke up the Gators' collective asses.

But I'm more than ready to watch this fine group of Buckeyes play their hearts out one more time.

GO BUCKS!!!

Hopefully this will be Noah, trying to go against Oden.

Hubert Davis wants UF to put Brewer on Conley (please Donovan, listen to such strange advice). No Hubie, he's not as fast as conley, and his length isn't as useful as most matchups b/c Conley take s relatively few jumpers. Conley is far too quick off the dribble for Brewer.

Amen to that.

So it's better to cower in the corner expecting to lose, than to support your team when facing a tough foe? :roll2:

I'm perfectly capable of respecting the greatness of Florida without preparing the flag of defeat in advance.

Well said.

Our boys have a tall order in front of them, but I am not willing to concede anything.

Just some thoughts going in...Oden played 28 min in the 1st game with 4 blocks,1 steal,6 rebounds,4 personals and 7 points...that was 3rd highest min played next to Conley's 37 and Butler?s 31...we also shot 36% compared to Flas. 60%... also Ted Valentine was one of the officials in that game?officiated the G-town game on Sat. (does he officiate tonight) I do believe we are a different team than the one that played the Gators in late Dec.

(on the road)...also Lighty, Cook, Twig, and Hunter combined for 11
points...they will need to produce in this game...GO BUCKS!!! :oh:

Brewer on Lewis seems like a no-brainer from the Gators' standpoint.

Some analyst made a good point about Florida's defense when he talked about the ability of Horford and Noah to switch to checking guards up top, and then follow the smaller guys down the lane and still block their shots. The quickness of the starting bigs is a key to that defense, and how Conley and Lewis deal with it when driving will be significant.
