Game Thread Ohio State 33, Washington 14 (Final)

I'm not worried about the run defense. Washington has a good RB and he didn't do jack today, even with the benefit of getting many of his carries on counters to runs by Locker. Every time the ball was handed to the RB, he was stuffed.

To put this in perspective, the following players for Ohio State had a YPC equal to or greater than Washington's starting RB according to ESPN's boxscore:

C. Wells - 5.6
B. Saine - 9.2
M. Wells - 3.0
A. Henton - 5.0
T. Boeckman - 4.5
D. Sanzenbacher - 7.0

Where can I get a download of the game today? I wasn't able to watch it, as I was at the UCF game in the the new stadium watching them almost pull out against Texas... it was electric in there!! Anyways, is there a download available yet?

We'll just have to disagree on this one. The last couple of games of last season did nothing to dispel the concerns about the run defense, and we are actually younger in that department this season. Again, there is no safe net aka Troy Smith this year, which means we will see quite a few games like the PSU game last year, even if our run defense is able to match last year's performance...

Because 1 team, that's well documented as one of the most over-rated ones at that, makes an entire conference?

...add in the other other messes and you have media fodder. I don't see where that is disputable.

The Big 10 has been pathetic this year...what is your issue with that assessment?

Other conferences are irrelevant here...the fact is that the Big 10 has not been strong at all...yet.

Here is the Brutus2002 theorum of conference loyalty.

I could care less if the entire conference loses every stinkin game. I hope scUM loses and get their asses handed to them every weekend. I'm getting tired of the SEC this and the SEC that blah blah blah blah fucking blah. If the Buckeyes win I'm happy. I don't give a shit if its against Rocko Junior College for Auto Mechanics. The argument is stupid and theirs no way to gauge how good your conference is. The Bowl games is the best way but if you have 2 BCS teams it knocks your 3rd ranked team into a spot against a higher ranked team(usually) Lets sit back and watch the Buckeyes. If we go undefeated we will play for the NC no matter if we have a weak schedule or not!!!

Show me another conference where the preseason NC contender lost to a D1AA team...

Other conferences have had upsets...but Michigan has given the Big 10 the albatross.
It's not the Big Ten's fault that the media overrated a team where the only good defensive players it had left for the NFL.

Edit: I do agree the B10 is down, but I think TSUN sucking is being overplayed in this sense.

23Skidoo, the B10 woes are not limited to this season. The supposed #1 and 2 teams in the country, which recieved insane amounts of hype last November/December, were pantsed in their respective bowl games. The B10 has a perception problem right now, and the teams are doing nothing to dispel that, as a whole, on the field.

Other conferences are only irrelevant if you're taking the statements I made out of context and trying to make something out of nothing.
