Problem is, the Big-10 is 8-9 in all BCS games, while the SEC is 11-4.
The SEC's record of 4-0 in BCS Championship Games (and the 11-4 deal)gives us a pass with many voters. While the value of that stat may be argued, and augmented with the various scoreboard wins by the Big-10 over SEC teams and other power conferences, that Conference BCS stat is what it is, and it is the reason for some of the SEC love fest/Big-10 bashing.
4-2 is damn good considering the fact the '07 Buck squad was overachieving in being there. That is over now. It is put up or shut up time. Or, more accurately, put up or hear the Big-10 and Tress dogged by ESPN for years.
