Our O-Line is overrated, it is good when Beanie is in there, and average when he isnt. One look at todays game is proof positive. An elite line like maybe our freshman recruits may someday grow into, would blow open holes that Mo not Beanie Wells could run through: they cant and he didnt.
I'm a USC fan but I try to stay away from the Kool Aid and come at CFB with a level head. That said, my level headed analysis of the OSU vs. USC game is that yes, if OSU plays like they did this week against USC, they will get crushed.
Pretty deep analysis, huh?
Chances are, the OSU team we saw today won't even make the trip to Los Angeles, much less stink up the field like they did against OU. I just doN't put much stock in games that are played against bad opponent that you know you can beat with your F game and by using only a third of your offensive and defensive playbook. Yeah, OSU has some serious problems to address over the week and Tressell needs to light a fire under his players' asses and get them to realize the very real possibility that they may fly all the way accross the country to get shellacked by the Trojans. I doubt anyone of the Buckeyes is in the business travelling thousands of miles to get creamed, so I expect to see an energized, hungry, and very, very different Buckeye team next Saturday than I did today.
