Well.....there are exceptions. 2002 and 2006 against Michigan were "allowed". Any win over a good Michigan (remember way back when?) should be "allowed".

any win over michigan period.

For those who believe history repeats itself:

The last time Iowa played in a winner-take-all game for the Rose Bowl was in 1957 against Ohio State in Columbus:

OSU 17 Iowa 13

The next week in Ann Arbor ("meaningless game"):

OSU 31 Michigan 14

The Rose Bowl:

OSU 10 Oregon 7

spooky...

Not sure if this is where I should post this...but..

This is crap, if your not in the area seeing the game on ABC, you won't be able to get it in ESPNHD, forwhatever reason they are blacking out the HD on ESPN, and can only watch it in standard def, does anybody know why ESPN is doing this?? They've done this for the past few weeks on other games.

That is crap. Happened to my friend in Denver for the Penn State game.

Happened to me last week with the Penn State game... instead of watching it in HD I got to watch it in Standard Def!

anybody know why this is going on?? They've been able to show the HD channel before, so why are they blacking it out now?! It's a good thing I caught this, cause I was going to set my DVR to the HD channel on ESPN, if I got 3 hours of ESPNNEWS I would have been uber pissed.

...It'd be cool to see everyone, not just the students, doing the Buckeye Bounce to Seven Nation Army.

Vomit.

I DESPISE this new... whatever you wanna call it.

Lame, and copied. Mocking it is one thing, but I wanna mute the game when this is going on. Vomit again.

Who cares if it is copied...everything is copied...it's get the place loud and people on their feet...AAAND my FAVORITE part about it, is that the whole Buckeye bench jumps up and down during it. I LOVE THAT. I have no doubt that the players don't have something to say about it being played. Last year during Wisconsin's Jump Around, the whole Buckeye bench was jumping up and down. It's the attitude of this team. They are loose, and they have fun. Well dammit, we need fans that are more like that. Sometimes I wonder if people are having fun at games, it seems like they only enjoy blowouts. They seem so angry when the smallest thing doesn't go right. Don't get me wrong, I love Buckeye blowouts. But there is something that is awesome about low scoring, defensive battles. 2002 OSU/PSU comes right to mind. NOW THAT WAS FUN!!!!

Ohio State has plenty of tradition and uniqueness. But it definitely needs more things to get people on their feet. Hells Bells during 3rd down is copied, but it gets people on their feet as well.
