Well, who knew Vandenburg was the Mandenburg? Maybe our D was distracted by his mom's hotness? But yeah, We gave up too many big plays, when it is clear we were playing NOT to give up the big play....

Every D-1 QB can make those throws with time...that is my question. Why was he given the opportunity to figure out if he could do it in a hostile environment?

Hell, if he burns me deep early while I'm trying to break him, then I adjust

With the Buckeyes clinching the Rose Bowl and USC's implosion, Ohio State will now have the longest active BCS bowl streak.

I wonder if the ESPN talking heads - some of whom bashed us mercilessly the last few years - will bother mentioning that fact?

Fuck the haters.

We definately adjusted in the 2nd quarter & I don't think that he had that great of a 4th quarter - 1 pick called back, one pick dropped for a freak reception, on their TD drive and a special teams TD. In OT, he got splattered. His best 2 drives of the second half were in the 3rd quarter and they only resulted in 3 points.

Agreed. Vandenburg was pretty good for a RS Frosh on the road in his first start. He looks like he'll be a handful for a lot of teams in the Big Ten over the next few years. That said, when it mattered most tonight Vandenberg wasn't very good at all, and got REALLY LUCKY a few times.

imo it was because they thought they could get pressure with the front four. In the second half it looked like they brought Coleman and others.

Never once said he had a good game...that was Millen :) 2 picks and 50% completion is not a great game.

My point is about the pressure applied to the pup in the first half...and most of the 3rd.

Especially on that last td run of his. On pick 6 brought back and a tipped pick for a completion. Should have one by 7 at least. But I SMELL ROSES AND THEY SMELL GOOD!!!!
