I agree, they have sold artificial turf pieces the previous times it has been replaced. Anyway any income the athletic department gets that can allow them to keep from raising ticket prices, I'm for.

Based on the prices I see in THIS POST, it looks to me like prices have gone down a little.

But that's entirely because they aren't selling out anymore and has nothing whatever to do with the sale of chunks of rubber.

Demand has gone down, supply is the same, price goes down.

Ha! I’ve never heard about this.

But on a related note, one of my dad’s best friends was a tsun alum. Take zero away from the guy. Double major under grad, engineering and pre-med… and then before Med school he volunteered (Nam era). Became a sniper. Finished his tours and came back to tsun to get his Med School completed. Moreover, suffice it to say, were he not at tsun, I would not walk this planet. He was instrumental in my mom being added to a clinical study that eventually led to me.

Anyhow… fuck tsun.

So, to the story. This guy decides to to put a ring on it. His groomsmen, including my dad, got him blasted the night before the wedding. Like blotto. They got a package of red RIT dye… and dyed him from the shoulders down in red… because… well… fuck tsun. All his groomsmen were from Ohio (the groom as well) and had ZERO love for tsun. Suffice it to say, the bride apparently did not talk to the groomsmen for a good amount of time after the honeymoon.
