Here is eleven warriors vid on the changes. Most of them are minor. But I like the grey around it. Also I wish they would have gone a more grassy look like some of the designs rather then the very turf look but other then that I like it.I dig the gray outer area and helmet stripe back of the end zone additions
Lol I just want to know how much they payed the Design consultant for those minor tweaks. Probably multmillionsI came into this thread looking for the grey field so I could shit-talk it.
..I kind of like it.
But what they went with is definitely better lol. I prefer the old end zone font. But I don’t really care.

Is no one discussing the fact that Gene Smith said yesterday that, if/when the playoff expands and first round games are played at home stadiums, he doesn’t want to host games at the Horseshoe but would rather play in a domed stadium like in Indy (which he referred to as the “Hoosier Dome”)? Fuck that. Make southern teams come play in the cold. Make their fans come and sit in the cold. That gives us an advantage. He said if it was happening this year then he’d want CJ to be playing indoors. Well guess what? So would the opposing QB. Boo hoo hoo, if these guys have NFL aspirations then they’d better be prepared to play in the cold and snow during the playoffs. Show them how OSU will better prepare them for that. (And why we always need to have a dominant running game.)
I’m not in favor of expanding the playoff. I’m not even a fan of the playoff. But they’re going to expand it so make them pay. Don’t make it easier on them and don’t give up the advantage of playing at home. They play on artificial turf so the frozen ground (which he cites) won’t be a thing. Playing the B1G CCG in Lucas Oil Stadium is one thing. If Alabama hosts a first round game, it will be at Bryant-Denny Stadium. If OSU hosts one, it should be at the ‘Shoe. Buckeye up.

This is just another thing for boomers to get upset about. Smith wasn't even speaking definitively. Just that it would be a thought/consideration. Bunch of people getting their panties in a bunch about a scenario that is still probably four years away.Didn’t we have fans calling the weather for The Game a “snowstorm” and complaining about the conditions and saying it would’ve been different if the conditions were better?
