Single Game Football Tickets Tips

I did this in 2015 for the PSU game. Got 2 tickets in A deck in row like 4 and 5 right behind each other. It was perfectly fine. Now granted it was with a buddy and not a wife.
Who you choose to mate with is nobody's business but your own.

This doesn't look like a good place to discuss tickets since there's only been two new posts since 2016.

Ohio State announces capacity for 2021 spring game

Ohio State announced it will allow a limited number of fans to attend its spring game later this month.

The Buckeyes will have a maximum of 19,180 fans in attendance. However, the number of tickets available to the general public will be much less.

Here’s how that breaks down:
  • 10,000 seats to the Wexner Medical Center for frontline healthcare workers
  • 2,500 seats for students
  • 4,500 seats for the general public
Tickets for the general public will go on sale Monday morning and will cost $5 per ticket.

The Pick Three plans will allow Ohio State fans to choose between three different pairs of home games to build their plan. Pick Three plan purchasers can choose one game between either Arkansas State (Sept. 10) or Toledo (Sept. 17), one between either Wisconsin (Sept. 24) or Iowa (Oct. 22) and one between either Rutgers (Oct. 1) or Indiana (Nov. 12).

Those plans will start at $166 for the three-game packages, with fans having the option to choose the best available seating for multiple price zones to build their packages. Ohio State’s Sept. 3 season opener against Notre Dame and Nov. 26 regular-season finale against Michigan are not included in the Pick Three plans.

A single-game presale for members of the Ohio State Alumni Association will be held beginning June 21 at 10 a.m., while single-game ticket sales for the general public will begin at 10 a.m. June 24.

I have a silly question - when are gametimes announced for future games?

Specifcally - I would like to take WoofSon #1 to the IU at OSU game on 11/12 but now the time is TBD. When would the kickoff time become public knowledge?

Like everything else in life it seems, kickoff times are controlled by $. Since a tOSU game could be on a Fox channel, B1G Network, or a Mickey Mouse channel, the network who owns that game usually doesn't announce a game time until about 2 weeks ahead of time so they can determine the most advantageous time slot for each of their games that week.

I'll see you there. I'll be back in the great state of OHIO that week for work, going to stay after and go to the game with my father.

Woofson and I are booked.
We are going to arrive at 9:30-10
Park at the Ohio Union garage
Let him pick out some gear at the Union
Grab an early lunch
Let him look around the Fine Arts/theater building and take him to the rec center and hit the game.

I think I am looking forward to a day with "just us dudes" more than he is.
