I live about 1.5 miles away from the prison. Crazy stuff last night with the 3 aircraft looking for them. Feels creepy when they are flying directly over your own house. Luckily for me there is a busy intersection about 70 yards away where there was a police checkpoint so I kind of figured they would stay away from there if they had gotten farther than they had got. Still pretty scary to think a guy like TJ Lane with nothing to lose was so close to your own house.

This guy is a killer. I'm not a killer. My family, who are also Ohio residents and pay taxes, aren't killers. So I have no desire to kill this young man. I'm sorry if that's the inconvenient thing to do, but what is right is not always convenient.

I have the feeling this little shit is going to spend the next few years of his life getting ass raped and tossing salads. At some point a few years down the road someone will finish him off.

If he killed my kid and made the remarks he made in court during sentencing he would be lucky I didn't strangle him right then and there. This kid does not deserve to live for the acts he admitted to doing.

There is no doubt that this murderer should be dealt with in the strongest manner permitted by the Constitution. However, as evil as he is, I refuse to ratify the taking of ANY human life in the name of retribution, deterrence, or punishment. We, as a society, live by a moral code that is clearly not subscribed to by this young man. On a moral level, I simply cannot countenance the concept of lowering 11 million Ohioans to his level of depravity.

Some responsibilities belong to God, not to mankind itself.
