I admire your guts sir. :)

You want to see guts... How about liking Ohio State and posting on an Ohio message board. They look at me as a traitor cuz I root for Ohio State (except for this weekend).

But it isn't guts... I am rooting for my alma mater!

Plus rooting for underdogs can be fun

So would you honestly be happy if somehow, someway Ohio pulls the upset, ruining Ohio State's NC hopes?

GAME WEEK!!!

The only time I do not root for Ohio State. In honor I break out my Ohio avatar.

Why should anyone have a problem with somebody rooting for his alma mater. I might have a problem with the alma mater in question's historical relationship towards Ohio State, but I can't fault someone who went there rooting for them this weekend.

I find the phenomenon of OU students rooting for Ohio State this weekend to be downright bizarre. Don't get me wrong, I love it because it drives the bobcatattack types apeshit.

As an OU grad and OSU football supporter, I understand how you can see it as bizarre. However, I hope OU does not get a single first down and does not cross midfield on Saturday. I went to maybe three football games in my entire time at OU--and they were all homecoming games. MOST OU alumni can say the same thing. There is a VERY small contingent of alumni who actually follow the football program on a regular basis. Most of the others are just people who want to brag that they can outdrink you because they went to OU. To pretend that I somehow now have some sort of pride in my alma mater's football program would be completely ridiculous. The highlight of the day for OU will be watching the Marching 110 perform at halftime. I will still drink like an OU grad, but I'll be rooting for the Buckeyes to run it up (Tressel-style run-up, of course, 37-0)...

It's pretty harmless for Piney to root for OU -- I think that he should let out a big cheer if OU manages more than 100 yards of total offense. I might golf clap that achievement myself. It's not a given.

Otherwise, this game isn't going to be a whole lot different than the YSU game, and could be worse. Not only is OU horribly one dimensional now that McRae is gone, ONE WR accounted for the majority of the passing yards against Wyoming. This is a team which can neither run nor pass particularly well.

From the game stats, their defense didn't seem to be doing a whole lot to slow down Wyoming's rushing attack (again, a one dimensional team), so our backups should get lots of practice time this week.

The only thing that will hold the score down is if the Bucks hold on to the ball for long stretches. OU's possessions will likely be short and unproductive. If they also have a large number of penalties (as against Wyoming), then that will keep the clock stopped as well.

With all regrets to my alma mater (I attended both schools, however), I am going to call this one 45-3. JT can only do so much to call of the dogs, since he has to get the starters enough playing time to be ready for USC.

100 yards of total offense?

Without any threat of a legitimate running game, Piney should cheer if OU gets three 1st downs.

Then they would be sadly mistaken.

Maybe not on an individual basis, but on a per capita basis, I'll put the Court Street Crusaders up against anybody. I've been on a lot of college campuses, and most don't compare. The only people who get arrested at Halloween are outsiders who come down for the weekend and can't hang.

Let's get it on! Where's afterhours?!?!?!
