BEREA ? True enough, the hue and cry to select a quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick in next weekend's NFL draft has reached Cleveland Browns General Manager Phil Savage.
He even heard it from some United Way staffers this week.
"One guy said if we didn't draft a quarterback, he was dropping his season tickets," Savage said Tuesday at his pre-draft press conference.
Of the consensus top five players available, two are QBs: JaMarcus Russell from LSU and Brady Quinn from Notre Dame. So there's a decent chance one will be on the board when the Browns are on the clock in 10 days.
