STEAL. We have all seen what those Mac QB's can do, and he struggled last year, b/c the whole offense even him dealt with a ton of injuries. Give him a year or so behind Trent Green and then watch out. He could be a pro-bowler.

I don't know if I'd call him a steal in the 2nd round, but I know what you're saying. Omar has the potential to *someday* be a starter in the NFL, but he needs a little work.

I would also like to go on record that fellow MAC QB (Toledo's) Bruce Gradkowski will be an absolute steal of a QB on the 2nd day of the draft.

With the 55th pick in the 2006 BP draft, the Bengals select Joseph Addai, RB, LSU.

With the addition of Gabe Watson to shore up the run defense, We feel there is plenty of young talent on that side of the ball. Rudi has been getting greedy lately and the bengals have a recent history of only having a RB on the team for a few years. It was expected that the next in line was going to be Chris Perry, but he has been injury prone thus far into his carreer.

With the 24th pick of the 2nd round and 56th pick overall, the New York Giants select Ryan O'Callaghan, OT, California.

The Giants were torn with this pick. There were several defensive options on the board but none of them stood out enough to be taken in this slot. Instead, the Giants will try to fortify their line which had numerous unnecessary penalties last year.

While there are some injury concerns, O'Callaghan brings great size and smarts to the line. He will probably play right tackle for the Giants but he has the ability to move into one of the guard slots as well.

The Chicago Bears are on the clock.

Finally, Bears fans learn the location of the draft war room, give Jerry Angelo a clubberin', and lock him in a closet. This gives the Bears to address the unmitigated disaster that is their TE position in round 2. The fans are thrilled to see one partuclar player left on the board:

"With the 25th pick in round 2, the Bears select Mercedes Lewis, TE, UCLA."

He's 6-5, 260, has the ability to get open, and is an adequate blocker...none of which describes Desmond Clark, Gabe Reid, or anyone else the Bears can put up there. Some analysts have him as the #2 TE, and the Bears are thrilled to get him here.

He then promptly demands a trade PISSED that his new employers cannot even spell his name correctly
