Neither do Kansas, A&M, Okie St.

This was the main reason for a couple of the upsets that TTech had, which is why Durant's game against them was mighty impressive...

That's interesting. Whenever I hear people bring up Kansas they always talk about how good their defense is.

From watching the game tonight that Durant is having against Texas A&M, I wouldn't expect any of the Big XII teams to make it very far.

None of them play defense.

None of them seem to rebound very well.

Every defender seems to be beat-able off of the dribble.

Durant is a talented player, but I think the Big XII and it's pathetic defense has share of what his successes are....he still has to hit the shots, but it seems like these teams can't or won't bother changing up to defend him.

And another thing I've noticed. When he's down low with a SMALLER player, he's average, but against a bigger and often times slower player, he dominates.

I only watched the first half last nite and I watched aTm the other nite against Kansas and I think they have a good chance to go somewhere in March...They have two big guys down low who are strong and then they have some shooters on the outside all to go along with Acie Law who is awesome.

As for Texas Durant is very capable of carrying a team and they have some other guys on their team that are pretty good, while they don't play much defense if they get against a team that has an off nite they could score with anyone...

I caught the end of the Texas game last night and wasn't impressed with Durant. The game was close and he was trying too hard. While he was taking stupid shots that didn't go in, aTm would get the rebound and fast break out to a 20 point lead.

It's just a half of a game and against a very good team, but he looked like he was too concerned with scoring his points rather than winning.

Yeah, I totally agree. I watched the second half. To open the half, Durant was unconscious. But as the game wore on, it seemed like he felt like he needed to be the one to carry the team. There was no offensive flow in the game, and it seemed like the other four Texas players just stood around and watched while Durant took goofy shots. Besides that point guard they have and Durant, no one did anything to win the game. They were content on seeing if Durant could score, if not, damn, good try. I think Durant got tired too. I don't think he even came out of the game.

The thing is we all know that alot of it comes down to the best player on the best team, and also that voters arent always high on voting for frosh...

What a game last night. Law was great, but Durant was amazing. How many fouls did he draw?

I thought Durant was sumarized by one play. He came from behind, blocked the a layup, cleared the rebound, ran the break, pulled up for the 3, drew the defenders then made a sweet pass to a cutting teammate for a dunk. It just shows his versitility. There is nothing he can't do. Amazing.
