The possibilities of ND beating BC are about one in a milllion. To be honest, I would relish a major upset though, however unlikely. It would be sweet revenge after the upset in '93, the team hasn't really been as good as that one was since.
As far as storming the field, theres no way the students wouldn't go if the upset happened, hell, I'll be there and I'd probably storm the field this Saturday if they won. The only thing ND has going in to this game is the fact they're playin' BC, and you never know whats going to happen. More often than not though, it goes bad for ND.

If I were Matt Ryan, I'd be licking my chops at the chance of torturing this secondary. I think he has a huge game and BC wins big time.

Isnt it illegal to say that on this board? Especially in this thread? You and I need to have a talk. You NEVER root for ND. If they play fucking North Korea, you DO NOT root for ND :biggrin:

He's our resident domer, or at least the one who's not constantly treading upon the ledge of permanent banishment. As such, we need to give him a wide berth. He's been temporarily blinded by having some Super Bowl rings waved in his face constantly these past three years. When the dazzle of their shiny cubic zirconium wears off, he'll slowly start to ask why they haven't been replaced with any BCS bowl win or national championship rings.

When this happens, we need to be there for him, so as to let the healing begin.

Just to clarify why I want a picture of ND storming the field -

The last time a BC team had fewer than 3 losses they went 10-2 and had wins over Western Carolina, Houston and Holy Cross.

That the mighty Domers would be reduced to storming the field after such a win simply underscores the depths to which they have fallen. Underscores it and puts it in bold and italics with a font size of 20.

I want a record of that one just to wave around in case the Domers ever actually do make it back to prominence.

But given my preferences, I would rather see them lose to BC and USC and become bowl ineligible in week 8 of the season.

Week 8.

Ya gotta love it.

That prick ND kid on the ESPN First Take was just hilarious. How he was trying to make fun of Boston College any way he could (which clearly doesn't include football, the reason they were on the show in the first place) and the BC guy was 100% class and said he had a lot of respect for ND and said all the right things. The Domer just kept talking and talking until finally his biggest insult was "I applied to BC and got in and chose ND."

His trying to talk about how BC was an unimpressive number 4 was just priceless. I just wish the BC guy was more of an asshole and had said something like "Hey all those teams you mentioned have positive rushing yards on the season thanks for playing."

All in all, I hate ND and I am drunk :biggrin:
