Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

I agree, he represents just about every Domer fan I know.

I'm pretty sure we're looking at a 40 year old virgin in the making.

The BC guy handled it well in not taking the bait and stooping to the domer's level. For a university that so obsessively micro-manages their public image, I'm sure that the priests are not at all pleased and will be bending that young man over a desk soon--whether figuratively or literally, I won't venture to guess.

What a douche bag. ND fans and the Stanford band deserve each other.

At least the Stanford band makes me laugh sometimes. Junior also lays bare the lie that domer students and alumni are somehow less obnoxious or blindly arrogant than the subways.

The priests may hate the fact that this clown put that mentality on display on national television, but he really does represent Notre Dame to a tee--its alumni, students and administration.

GUEST COLUMNIST: TOMMY KILBORN, NOTRE DAME STUDENT

180px-RedheadedGuy.JPG

Hello, all. I'd like to thank Orson for giving me the chance to address all of you on an important topic today: our upcoming game against Fredo. I mean, Boston College. It's so hard to stop saying that! Because we're the Godfather, and don't you forget it. GO IRISH!

To begin, let me say that I cannot agree more with my compatriots and fellow Golden Domers in urging our fellow students to not storm the field when-and I did just say that-when we beat Boston College tomorrow. In fact, I couldn't agree more unless I disagreed with the idea that there was even a game tomorrow. That's just how little we should pay attention to Boston College. So there, I'm saying it: there's not even a game tomorrow. We shouldn't even field a team, so obviously superior are we to the number 4 ranked team in the nation.

You see, they're not even another football team, really. In fact, going to the game would be an acknowledgment that they even existed. We shouldn't even watch the game tomorrow, or check a score, or even think about enjoying it win or lose.

I'm pretty sure it's satire. Not terribly well done, but domers are so ridiculous (see the guy on ESPN or the student article that's linked) that it's easy to take it as genuine.
Yeah the EDSBS piece is satire, but i loved this from the comments:
? Fredo ? was the OLDER brother in the movie if you recall. He talked loud, was arrogant, and wore garish clothes meant to to impress people ( bringing out the Green Jersies ?). He had a sense of entitlement by virtue of birth. ( ND ? ) His YOUNGER brother ( BC ? ) preferred to work quietly behind the scenes, drawing future alliances, ( ACC ?) and working smartly and silently to improve himself in the pecking order. The older Brother, ? Fredo ? ( ND ?)never saw his younger brother?s emergence until it was too late. Fredo?s independent streak and loud talk to everyone in the end was his undoing. He ultimately was upstaged by his younger Brother. ( BC ? ) And All the while, if you recall, poor ? Fredo? in the movie never saw it coming. Keep in mind he was never much liked by his own shaky alliances because of his independent coming and goings ( Big East ? ). And that independent streak by Fredo brought resentment among many. Fredo was too distracted and disorganized too. He spent too much time talking about ? how good the old days used to be ? around everyone. ( ND ? ) He ultimately died. But not in a group or alliance shootout with his gang. He died alone, in a canoe. And as was said, he never saw it coming ( Nat?lChampionship future aspirations killed off.. and forever by BC?.. in 1993 upset ) until it was too late. Now, you tell us?. who sounds more like ? Fredo ? again in that movie ?
So the Domers can't even get their movie analogys right.
